E1028: 14k Gold & Diamond Hoop Pierced Earrings

The use of lines of princess cut diamonds in jewelry design began in the 1980s, and has its antecedents in the lines of square emerald cut diamonds from the Art Deco period.  When the diamonds are this white and with so few flaws, the earrings glow and can be seen from a distance.

10.4 grams; 14k yellow gold and white gold;  each earring has 2 rows of 20 invisible set princess cut diamonds, 2mm each, total weight of the 40 diamonds about 1.85 carats; G color, VS clarity; earrings measure 1 and 5/8ths inches top to bottom and 6mm wide.
