E936: Pear Moonstone/Diamond Drop Earrings

Adularescence refers to the blue light that shimmers across the surface of finer quality moonstones.  Their body color is whitish gray, and the blue light gives them a cast like a sky blue day.   The small sparkling diamonds above set off the moonstones nicely.

18k gold; 22k gold; sterling;  3.8 grams; 1 inch long top to bottom;  two tear drop moonstones with blue adularescence, set in bezels; 2 round diamonds, total .05 carat;  curving posts allow the earrings to slip easily on and off.
