N811: Gold, Natural Diamond, Lab Created Padparadscha Pear Shape Sapphire

I had never seen the perfect color for the rare Padparadscha sapphire, named after the Sinalese word for the color of the lotus flower—-until I found this lab created version from Chatham. No company in the world produces lab created colored gemstones like Chatham. Their decades of research since the 1940’s has resulted in their ability to grow the intense colors of all sapphires, which grow in the earth in all colors of the rainbow except red. Their gemstones are masterly faceted and polished; their natural diamonds are also extremely fine. The curving cross over diamond wires draws our eyes into the depth of color and vividness of this sapphire. It appears to be hiding, but it cannot be hidden.
